Restore Local Control for Wind & Solar Permitting

Petition Language was approved at the January 19th Board of Canvassers meeting.

Petitions will become available in February.

What the ballot initiative would do:

• Reverse the effects of House Bills 5120 & 5121
• Return zoning for large scale wind and solar to local communities
• local governments will decide if and where large scale solar and wind farms will be located within their community, NOT the state
